Grupo de interacciones microbioma-suelo-planta
El Grupo de Interacciones Microbioma-Suelo-Planta (IMiSPla) dirige su investigación al estudio del sistema suelo-planta-microorganismos y su contribución a los servicios ecosistémicos.
El trabajo que lleva a cabo comprende el análisis de propiedades fisicoquímicas, microbiológicas y bioquímicas del suelo, así como de parámetros de crecimiento vegetal.
El grupo IMiSPla realiza su investigación en el marco del área científica sobre manejo sostenible, conservación y recuperación de suelos de la zona templado-húmeda.
Línea de investigación prioritarias
- Estudio de los ciclos de macro y micronutrientes y de los parámetros (micro)biológicos y bioquímicos en el sistema microbioma-suelo-planta, así como de las modificaciones que experimentan con distintas perturbaciones antropogénicas, como la presencia de contaminantes (elementos traza, fitosanitarios, efluentes industriales, compuestos orgánicos tóxicos, etc.), los cambios de uso o de manejo en suelos forestales y agrícolas, el cambio climático, los incendios forestales, etc.
- Análisis del uso de plantas y sus microorganismos asociados para la recuperación y aprovechamiento de suelos y sustratos contaminados, degradados o naturalmente enriquecidos en elementos traza, mediante técnicas como la fitominería y otras fitotecnologías.
- Desarrollo de nuevos agentes extintores de incendios forestales con bajo impacto ambiental.
